How does ToneCraftr work?
Enter the gear you own — guitar, amp, pedals or a modeller — pick a song, and ToneCraftr gives you amp settings, pickup selection and pedal dial-ins to get as close to the record as your rig allows.
Is it free? What are credits?
Yes — you can use ToneCraftr for free. New users get a couple of adaptation credits to try it out. Each tone adaptation uses one credit. ToneCraftr Pro removes the limit.
What does ToneCraftr Pro include?
Unlimited tone adaptations, unlimited saved presets and unlimited credits. Pro is available as a weekly or yearly subscription, and the yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, choose ToneCraftr, and cancel. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the next renewal.
How do I restore a purchase?
If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, open the Profile tab and tap Restore Purchases to re-activate your Pro subscription.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open the Profile tab and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, gear, saved and adapted tones, and credit history. It cannot be undone.
A tone doesn't sound right — is that a bug?
ToneCraftr is honest about the "reality gap": some rigs simply can't reproduce every record. Each result explains how close you can get and why. If something looks clearly wrong, email us with the song and your gear and we'll take a look.
